St John release First Aid app for Android
As the temperature rises so does the risk of sustaining injuries outdoors.
Contrary to popular belief leisure activities are the most common activity being undertaken when a person is injured, ahead of sporting and work-related injuries.1
St John Ambulance Australia encourages everyone to be prepared for whatever unfortunate event may occur this holiday season. Whether it be a sprained ankle or a bite from one of Australia’s most venomous residents, St John has got you covered with their new First Aid app for iPhone—now also available for Android.
St John’s Project Manager, Shay McAuley, would like everyone to be prepared this holiday season.
“With first aid, every second counts. In most cases, a few simple steps can spell the difference between life and death.” said Shay. “Many people find it difficult to remember the first aid treatments for all the various injuries, even with first aid training. We hope this app update will solve that problem”.
The range of St John iPhone apps can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes and Google Play app stores.
