Course Description
Senior First Aid is a comprehensive course teaching theoretical and practical skills in essential First Aid management. The Senior First Aid (flexible) option has the same content as the Senior First Aid Course completed in the classroom. Some of the topics covered include: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), DRABCD action plan, trauma management, shock, bleeding and poisoning.
Prerequisite
Minimum age for participants is 14 years.
Accreditation
The course is a national training qualification and accredited with WorkCover. The certificate issued is valid for three years.
